“John has extensive experience in trying criminal cases before juries across Texas.  John has served as lead counsel in felony cases in Dallas, Houston, San Angelo, Midland, Lubbock and throughout West Texas.   John is one of only a few lawyers in the 7^th Judicial Administrative Region of Texas  who has earned the qualification to be appointed to serve as Lead Counsel in Capital Cases in which the death penalty is sought by the Government and he has served as lead counsel in several Capital Murder cases as well as numerous  murder cases,  cases involving aggravated sexual offenses and virtually every other type of Felony or misdemeanor case. 

 John has an active Federal Court case load as well, representing clients primarily in the Northern District of Texas and the Western District of Texas in criminal matters.
